Important Notices:
- to ensure that the maximum number of people attending the meeting can be hosted at the Conference site ValdHotel, accomodation in single rooms (that are two-beds rooms used as single) will be limited and room sharing (two-beds romms or three-beds rooms) is highly encouraged. Room sharing at ValdHotel will be adopted if the partecipants exceed the number of people that can be accomodated in single rooms. If the room request will exceed the hotel availability, other nearby hotels will be suggested.

How to reach the conference site:

By car:

Turin is easy to reach by car. The city is connected with most European cities through a wide network of highways. To plan your trip consult: www.viamichelin.com. The hotel is located on local road SP 181, between Valdellatorre and Givoletto. From France (motorway A32): ALMESE exit, take the road (S.S. 24) towards TORINO / ALPIGNANO / VALDELLATORRE / GIVOLETTO. From Torino-Piacenza (motorway A21) and Torino-Savona (motorway A6) take the ring road towards north, PIANEZZA / COLLEGNO exit then TAKE the road towards PIANEZZA / ALPIGNANO / VALDELLATORRE.

By train:

Turin has two main railway stations, Porta Nuova and Porta Susa, both located in the city centre. They are connected to the rest of Italy, France and Switzerland by highspeed trains. From Porta Nuova station take a connection to Alpignano (about 15 minutes) where a shuttle service to Valdhotel (Autolinee Guerra) is available. By plane:

The closest airport (about 20 km) is Torino Caselle, which is daily connected with the main European cities. For the intercontinental arrivals, the airport offers direct flights to the main European Hubs. A bus link is available to the city center and Porta Nuova railway station or a taxi service (CTA Taxi service www.ctataxi.it) may be used to directly reach the meeting site (Valdhotel). (A special taxi price will be available for the conference participants)

Arriving at Malpensa 2000: the Milano airport “Malpensa 2000” allows direct intercontinental connections. Malpensa 2000 is connected to Torino by motorway (about 80 minutes by coach), by train (through Milano, every 30 minutes there is a bus to Milano Centrale railway station which takes about 1 hour; from there you can take a train to Torino Porta Nuova railway station, about 1.30 hours) or by bus (there is a bus service from Milano Malpensa Airport to Torino - Corso Inghilterra twice a day: 11.00 AM and 3.00 PM)
Arriving at Milano Linate Airport: There is a bus every 20 minutes to Milano Central railway station. From there you can take a train to Torino Porta Nuova railway station.
